PDF book download! The 3 Step Type 2 Diabetes Strategy, by Jodi Knapp. A new article in The Times yesterday seemed to suggest, for the first time, that diabetes reversal was possible. I eagerly read, assuming they had found something that cured type-2 diabetes completely – no shadow lurking overhead waiting for you to fall off the bandwagon briefly and see your blood sugars rocketing back up to danger levels. Alas, no, the article simply stated what we’ve all known for several millennia that by following a good diet and exercise routine you can be free from the complications of long-term diabetes.
However, the slightly perplexing bit about the article was that it suggested those in their later years found it easier to get control of their diabetes. The over 70s didn’t manage it through more dedication on a growing sense of mortality, they did it through becoming frail and weight loss due to it.
The one positive this poses is that reversing diabetes is, quite clearly, as it’s always been, about managing your weight and the best way to do that is by following a purpose built nutrition plan and exercise routine.
