Description
with crushed-rock minerality and truffle development
I very much like the way the lacy flavors manage to convey such flavor authority
intense and beguilingly delicious medium weight flavors that culminate in a mineral-driven
the 2010 Barolo Sarmassa seems to depart the senses as quickly as it arrives
It is always the wine that shows well early
Fieuzal Blanc other_regions_italy with crushed-rock minerality and truffleTasted blind at the Southwold 2012 tasting. The 2012 De Fieuzal Blanc has a withdrawn, lanolin scented bouquet that is nicely defined, some attractive Smillon here, but it just requires more intensity and chutzpah. The palate is well balanced with a soft peach skin and fresh pear opening, the acidity a little low and consequently it feels a little smudged towards the phenolic finish. Tasted January 2016.
