I've been looking at a fair number of cyanotypes lately
with the colorful strips of fabric
and a couple of smaller minnow (bait) buckets with different graphics
So while this is a small
Handsome, Lanky Young Sailor in Boatneck Sweater with Flag of Stars, Vintage Velox Snapshot original cartoon hand-forged of ironI love him, and his lanky frame, and his boat neck sweater and hands on his hips and star studded flag flying over him. Pretty dreamy feeling silhouetted in the bright light, ocean fading into the distance behind him. 5 7 8" x 3 1 2". Velox glossy snapshot, 1940s 40s. Good condition, with what appear to be some light surface scratches, shot here with some magnification.
