2024 Domaine Morey-Coffinet La Romanee, Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru, France Roagna Harvest: Third week of SeptemberArchaeological findings confirm the ancient village of Chassagne used to be occupied by a Roman society. The Romans planted the vines and built the city, hence the name Romane. From a 0. 81 hectare parcel of vines planted in 1957 at a higher altitude of Chassagne, protected from the north wind by a stand of trees. Aged 15 months in 228 and 350 L oak barrels, 35% new.
